GENERAL SUMMARY: Provides system administration support for all Oracle-based applications.  This support includes application of all patches and system upgrades, configuration management of all associated software, troubleshooting and systems analysis associated with the daily administration, maintenance of multiple process schedulers, multiple servers, and collaboration with software developers and business analysts in implementation and testing of system modifications.  

 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.   Application Administration   45%


Maintain, optimize and perform capacity planning, including system sizing, forecasting and data base growth for all defined Enterprise applications, and their associated environments.


Ensure the security and integrity of corporate data by establishing and documenting appropriate standards, procedures and guidelines for data handling and storage.


Install, maintain and tune application software, environments, and data structures for optimum performance.


2.   Technical Guidance  35%


Consult end-users, business analysts, developers, DBA’s and IT operations staff regarding application software performance and use.


Provide assistance and technical guidance for software development, system, and network engineering staff with regard to application access, Application tuning, data integrity and security.


Work responsibly to create and maintain a highly supportable system environment, consistent across all Enterprise applications.


Transfer knowledge to coworkers through development of procedures and documentation of the environments associated with applications all Oracle-based.


Act as liaison between Application Development, PMO and IT Operations on systems issues.


Provide on call support.


3.   Knowledge Enhancement 20%   


Keep abreast of technical developments and Information Technology trends by self-study and participation in courses, seminars, and conferences.


 
ORGANIZATION RELATIONSHIPS:  The Senior Application Engineer will have contact with their Manager as well as club end users, business end users and internal IT personnel.  The Senior Application Engineer must communicate in a professional manner with employees at all levels of the organization.  No direct reports.

Software Test Analyst, Backend Testing/SQL/BA Experience     
 
We have an immediate opening for a senior-level resource on our billing automation team.  The Software Test Analyst plays a major role in the analysis and development of project test plans, and test scripts. Interacts with system developers, end users, and all other groups involved in project development, testing, or test planning. Perform functional, regression, performance, and security tests on applications. Edits and/or writes test cases and test scripts. Evaluates test results to determine compliance with test plans.  
 
The Test Analyst will also be expected to perform some business analysis tasks and serve as a subject matter expert on the functionality and operation of our products.
 
 
Job Duties Include:

Develop test cases and scripts from functional and business specifications.
Validate and document product functional specifications  across releases.
Interacts with SMEs to develop software requirements.
Develop complex SQL queries for the purpose of validating accuracy of data and creating test data for testing.
Develop back-end regression test suite using T-SQL and other scripting tools.
Validate bank-file formats for compliance based on the specified requirements.
Duties include validating backend data with all business stakeholders involved.
Ensures security/PCI compliance through security audits and tests.
Identify and document software defects and interact with development staff to isolate and resolve testing issues.
Validate compliance with organizational SOP for testing. .
Develop testing documentation which includes test reports on the test process and results.
Executes all levels of application and system tests.
Records and tracks test results to closure and elimination of defects.
